Spam-Protection

E-Mail Settings

After ordering you get a new e-mail account from Kra-Tronic Corp. This new e-mail account needs to be set up in your Outlook (or in the e-mail program you use)
This set up is done differently in the individual e-mail programs. The best way is to consult your e-mail program's help. At the end of this page you find a few examples for setting up Outlook.

After ordering Kra-Tronic Spam Protection you get the following data:

  • Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
  • Account name
  • Password
  • New E-Mail addresses

In Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express 6.0 the above data are entered the following way: 'Tools', 'Accounts' Tab 'Mail', Add.
The new entry should be set as default. For the own e-mail address use one of the 20 forwarding addresses (Preferably the first one)

Depending on the e-mail program you use, the old e-mail account can be deactivated or must be deleted. Without deactivating/deleting the old account you would still get the Spam e-mails from your old account. (Deactivating/deleting the old account should be done after one to two weeks, after all friends, relatives, etc. are informed about the new e-mail address(es)
